Pool Pavilion/Residence
Redding, Connecticut
The new pool pavilion and guest house, respectful of the adjacent 1793 original
residence, were designed with louvered shutters which swing open to form a
"brise-soleil" in the summer, then close for storage in winter.
The original
Colonial residence with its various additions was completely transformed,
addressing the owners' specific lifestyle needs while respecting the historic
nature of the house.
