Kruhly Architects has designed a new 1600 sqft residence/studio/dacha in a uniquely unspoiled area of gently rolling hills and horse farms in Chester County, Pennsylvania.

Taking its cue from the buildings surrounding the site, the house's form is that of a barn with a standing seam stainless steel roof. Set in a lovely virgin woods, complete with a small stream, the structure contains a 2.5-story, glass-walled space open to nature which forms the center and focus of all living and learning.
